A Few Good Ways To Pump Up Your Business

September 18, 2009 Articles about Advertising No Comments

Whether you are a new entrepreneur, just starting out their own business or you have been in business for years and are just seeking out some new marketing solutions, there are some sure fire ways to help further market your business and make it a success.

Don’t forget to tell people about your business. Everyone you meet should know what you do. Keep contact info with you so that you can give it to people. A business card is good but you can always keep some pens handy or magnets that have your info. It may sound silly but you could keep other small items in your pocket in case you meet new people. Key chains will work for that.

You need to keep your name in front of people so don’t be shy about putting up signs and fliers. There is no reason to go broke with a big ad push. Just keep visible. You need to take care of return customers too. Your regulars should be showered with affection to the best of your ability. Give them discount cards to use after so much business. You should also give them promotional products on occasion. If you give them something handy they will use it.

Ask for referrals from your customers.  Don’t be afraid to do it.  Referred customers usually will make the best customers, so let your customers know to refer in a friend.  You can even offer them a referral gift, bonus or discounts.  And when they refer someone in, don’t forget to send a thank you, letting them know you appreciate their referral and their confidence in your business.

Promotional products and brand recognition can make a big impact on your business.  Whether you decide to use them to promote a new business or are looking to cross sell with your promotional advertising you will find that nothing grabs peoples attention like free stuff and at such a low cost, promotional advertising is well worth the investment.

Use awesome promotional gifts to entice referrals from your best customers. People love promotional apparel and will feel happy if given some.
